Product Description

Leaded HASL PCB surface finish, also known as Hot Air Solder Leveling, is a widely used surface treatment process for printed circuit boards. This finish applies a layer of tin-lead solder onto exposed copper pads to protect the PCB from oxidation and ensure excellent solderability during electronic assembly. The process involves dipping the PCB into molten solder and then using hot air knives to remove excess solder, leaving a smooth and durable coating. Leaded HASL is valued for its cost-effectiveness, long shelf life, and strong mechanical reliability, making it suitable for consumer electronics, industrial equipment, automotive electronics, and communication devices. It performs especially well in through-hole technology and standard SMT applications where ultra-flat surfaces are not required. Compared with other finishes, leaded HASL offers stable performance and easy inspection while supporting efficient mass production.
